From JuneNovember of 2022, I thruhiked the Continental Divide Trail from Glacier National Park at the Montana/Canada border south to Crazy Cook Monument in New Mexico. My thruhike spanned 5 states, 134 days, 5 pairs of shoes, 10 pairs of socks, 4 zeroes and 21 moose.

Before I left, I posted a video going over the gear I was bringing, but now that I'm back, I'm here to talk about how that gear worked out for me. What I loved and hated, the items that lasted and the ones that failed completely. Did my 11 pound base weight serve me well? How did my custom pack last? Did I survive with a flimsy foam sleeping pad? There's only one way to find out.
