मुजफ्फरनगर में दुकानदारों को निर्देश दिया गया है कि वे अपनी पहचान के साथ दुकानदारी करें, अपनी दुकान पर नाम का बोर्ड लगाने को कहा गया है। कांवड़ यात्रा के रास्ते पर पड़ने वाले बहुत से मुस्लिम दुकानदारों ने बोर्ड लगाने शुरू कर दिए हैं। इस फैसले पर असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने योगी सरकार को घेरा है। मुजफ्फरनगर के SSP का कहना है कि यात्रा के दौरान किसी विवाद से बचने के लिए ये फैसला लिया गया है।
