Jode pakher takda, my Pakhtoon friends! In Pakistan, there is an ethnic group of people known as "Pathans/Pashtoons/Pakhtoons". They not always, but sometimes have very distinct features such as blue or green eyes, paler skin, and different colored hair. Their native language is also typically Pashto, and so many pakhtoons don't speak Urdu, or speak it as a second language. As such, when I put on traditional Pakistan sharwal qameez and a pakhtoon hat, and speak Urdu, despite sounding somewhat like a foreigner, people often think I myself am pakhtoon. So today I went to a market to become a pakhtoon. Enjoy.
