Let's cook for Shabbat! I am making a couple of recipes I have made before, like the buckeyes and the gluten free challah (recipe here:    • Gluten Free Challah | Bake with Me   ). I am also making a couple of new recipes! I am trying a new side dish (see recipe below) and sharing a favorite side dish that I love to make (that I just hadn't had the chance to share with you yet). We will also be going through a regular day in the life so you can see how I juggle all the mom life things and homeschool with cooking and preparing for Shabbat.

Dijon Potatoes:
Golden potatoes
Onion
Olive Oil about 3 tablespoons
3 tbsp Dijon Mustard
salt and pepper (to taste)
Cut potatoes to large bite size. Chop onion. Mix potatoes, onion, dijon and olive oil, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Move to a baking tray and bake in the oven at 425 for 50 minutes. Enjoy!

Buckeyes:

2 cups peanut butter
1/2 cup butter
1 lb powdered sugar
3 cups rice krispies
2 packages chocolate chips
Melt butter and peanut butter. In a separate bowl, mix cereal and sugar. Add butter mixture to the cereal mixture and mix. Form into 1 inch balls and chill. Dip into chocolate melted in a double boiler. Place onto lined trays and chill. Keeps well in the fridge or freezer till ready to serve.
