Core Workout With Dumbbell Challenge | 24-min Scoliosis-Friendly Routine (Intermediate)

Another Core Workout! This time, with an added challenge of using a dumbbell.
You can use a kettlebell or other weight, and choose heavier or lighter weights depending on your fitness level.

All movements are designed to be scoliosisfriendly, and are great for people who have scoliosis, Scheuermann's Kyphosis, who are waiting for surgery or who have already had it (make sure you get clearance to exercise from your spine surgeon first!).

Exercises:
1) High kneeling lean back
2) Static Beast knee taps
3) High plank to side plank
4) Supine tabletop arm lowers

5) High kneeling lean back with dumbbell, arms straight down
6) Static beast knee taps
7) Side plank, 1 arm dumbbell abduction
8) Supine tabletop arm lower with 1 dumbbell

9) High kneeling lean back with dumbbell, dumbbell at chest
10) Static beast knee taps
11) Side plank, 1 arm dumbbell horizontal abduction
12) Supine tabletop arm lower with 2 dumbbells

13) VSits
14) VSits, dumbbell at chest
15) Hold V, reach overhead with 1 dumbbell
16) Hold V, bent arm open, passing 1 dumbbell
17) Hip flexor stretch x 30 sec on each side
18) Modified child’s pose x 30 sec
