I have to decide what to plant on the top field that got wiped out twice last summer. The first time, I planted soybeans and the deer ate them to ground. Then I broadcast brassicas into the stubble and they were gone by midOctober. I want grain in that plot, so in this episode, I talk about options, what you can and can't plant in areas with high deer density.

Then I demonstrate how to smooth out a very rough field with minimal equipment. Finally, I go through my soil test results on two fields to show how to read them and go over what I will need to add to get a great crop this fall.
