Since filming this video, it was announced that Walt Disney World and Disneyland Paris also closed. For the first time in the company's history, all Disney parks around the world are closed at the same time.

My channel is a place where you can find Disney vlogs, makeup tutorials and recently, wedding planning updates. But I also want it to be a place where I can be open and honest about the more serious topics like mental health, trichotillomania and the coronavirus.

My intent isn't to scare anyone, but just to share my personal experience with the outbreak. From talking with people who don't live in Seattle, it seems like people aren't aware of how quickly things have progressed in the past few days. I hope we can all come together during the COVID19 outbreak, give each other grace, stay calm and remain flexible.

The reality that may wedding may be impacted has sunk in. The governor of Washington State signed a proclamation enforcing that events or gatherings with over 250 people be cancelled through the end of March. Our guest list was upwards of 250 people, but even if we were under that number, we'd have to meet public health guidelines which suggest that guests over the age of 60 (or those with underlying medical conditions) don't attend which would include guests like our parents, aunts/uncles and grandparents.

I hope that since our wedding is in a little over two months, that it'll be ok by then. It does make me nervous when schools are cancelled preemptively for six weeks. But at the end of the day all that matters is that lives are saved. Trips, concerts, reunions, reservations that we've planned in advanced are getting cancelled. It makes me sad to think of families who plan their Disney trips sometimes years in advance having to realize that won't happen. It's sad that I've spent so much time with my family and wedding planners trying to perfect every detail of my wedding. But ultimately, that doesn't matter as long as people I care about are safe and healthy.
