From the megalithic site of Filitosa to the 19th century mansions, the Taravo valley bears witness to the history of Corsica.
Lovers of France and heritage, its treasures will no longer hold any secrets for you https://bit.ly/4dnI1h1
Visit to the best preserved villages with Ghjasippina Giannesini, anthropologist. Julie and Philippe Farinelli have brought new life to the Saparale estate, an exceptional vineyard in the Ortolo valley. For ten years, the couple has been replanting traditional grape varieties and restoring buildings with Egyptian decor. Hydrobiologist Antoine Orsini, for his part, has been monitoring mountain fauna and flora for thirty years, in particular Corsican trout which colonize the “pozzines”, high altitude peat bogs characteristic of the region. Passionate about ancient wrecks, Franca Cibecchinise manages to explore, thanks to new robots, a cargo of amphorae and Roman lamps buried deep.
