Jane found an old photo in her file of a trip to Costa Rica which became the inspiration for this tutorial. Sharing a lot of information and painting tips throughout the video, she demos how she creates foliage, water, mountains and sky and how she mixes her colors to create them. Always starting with a canvas painted in orange or red, she first sketches out her landscape and then does negative painting in which the sky and water are painted last. Follow along and have fun.
