Greater Vancouver’s 2023 PointinTime Homeless Count found a 32 per cent increase in people experiencing homelessness, compared to the previous count in 2020, with the cities of Surrey, Vancouver and Burnaby seeing the largest changes. The number of youth, seniors and LGBTQ people experiencing homelessness has also increased.
