An experienced crew transferred the sea rescue cruiser ALFRIED KRUPP of the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS), which was once stationed in Borkum, to South America on its own keel in autumn 2023. There it's now in search and rescue service for the National Navy of Uruguay. In this film, the sea rescuers tell what they experienced while crossing the Atlantic and why the journey was a matter close to their hearts.
