Create a Retro 70's Style Poster in Inkscape

Follow
Sweater Cat Designs

In this Inkscape tutorial, we're going to create a vintage, 70's style poster. We'll get some practice with path operations, manipulating text, and with vectorizing images using the Trace Bitmap dialog to add texture to our artwork.
The font I use in the video is Retro Jump: https://www.dafont.com/retrojump.font.
The concrete texture I use is located here: https://pixabay.com/photos/concretec.... (I downloaded the 1920x1280 version, but for less of a lag, you can try the 1280x853 or the 640x426 versions.)
