Create Animations of Meteor Ground Tracks with the QGIS Temporal Controller

Follow
Hans van der Kwast

This video shows how to import a CSV file with meteor ground track data. After importing the CSV as points into QGIS we style it as lines using the geometry generator. The lines are then further styled using the Interpolated Line renderer with varying width and colour. Then we set up the temporal controller and add a counter. Finally, we export the result to an animated GIF using GIMP.
