Sankey diagrams are used to show flow, where the width of each element is proportional to the flow rate.  While these chart types are now reasonably common BI software, they are not natively available in Excel.  However, in this video, I want to show you that with the right mix of simple techniques it is possible to create Sankey diagrams in Excel.
