Creating my new watercolor palette

Follow
Jodabbles

Hi everyone! After a new break, I am back. In this video, I will be talking a little bit about a process that took me weeks to complete: creating my new watercolor palette. I went with very safe choices, as I am not very familiar with colors and pigments yet, but I hope that this will be the start of a journey in the world of colors and also the start of my collection of watercolors
I was previously using Cotman Winsor & Newton watercolors (https://www.winsornewton.com/row/pain...) which are student grade paints. I have upgraded to:
Winsor & Newton professional: cobalt turquoise light, potter’s pink, neutral tint
https://www.winsornewton.com/row/pain...
Schmincke Horodam Aquarell: pure yellow; transparent ochre, transparent sienna, ruby red, helio cerulean French ultramarine, perylene green

I will be posting a blogpost about this process with pictures of the swatches and some sneakpeeks of paintings I have done with the colors.
