Critical Basics of Levaquin Tendonitis

TendonitisExpert

Levaquin Tendonitis is not the same thing as 'regular' tendonitis.

Fluoroquinolones like levaquin, levofloxacin, cipro, ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin, avelox, moxifloxacin, etc, cause all sort of symptoms including tendon pain, muscle pain, muscle weakness, muscle spasms/twitches/cramps, joint pain, symptoms that look/feel like regular tendonitis symptoms.

But tendonitis from Levaquin is an entirely different animal than regular tendinitis.

Fluoroquinolone toxicity is one result. Nutritional depletion is another. Mitochondrial damage and DNA damage or worse results.

If you took levaquin or cipro and have tendonitis symptoms, you also have nutritional depletion (definitely) and quite possibly also have connective tissue mitochondria damage, and worse than that, connective tissue DNA damage.

Also, if you have tendon pain (your tendon is affected), you MAY also have damage to connective tissue around any other joint(s) in the body, to the connective tissue in/around organs (including the brain), and possibly to the connective tissue around nerves.

Levaquin tendonitis is bad news, and isn't really tendonitis.
