BlackSeaRC presents the second video in a series looking at the CrossRC PG4A Adventurer fullsize 4x4 pickup truck. This is a premiumgrade 1:10 scale radio controlled (RC) offroad crawler kit. In the first video, we unboxed the kit and looked at all the ancillary parts required to construct the kit and get the truck up and running. This included the RC transmitter, receiver, Electronic Speed Controller (ESC), servo equipment, paint, tools, battery equipment, etc. A selection of upgrade parts were also acquired. Now, in this video, we follow the stepbystep process to build this topoftherange PG4A kit.

The video also presents useful hints and tips if you are building or planning to build a PG4A (or similar CrossRC kit) in the future.

The PG4A was released in 2016 and is still available in limited numbers if you can find one. It features a metal Cchannel chassis frame, 2speed alloy gearbox coupled to a 27T brushed motor, heavyduty solid axles with multilinks and adjustable coil spring oilfilled shock absorbers, Fat Man 2.2" allterrain tyres with chromeplated steel beadlock wheels, scalerealistic ABS plastic hard body and comprehensive LED lighting system.

Other models in the PG4 series include the PG4, PG4R, PG4RS, PG4S and PG4L.

In future videos, you will be able to see the completion of the PG4A kit build, the setup, functional testing and performance testing. There will also be the opportunity to get ideas for customisation and then offroad driving adventures will follow.
