CSEET stands for Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test. It's an entrylevel examination conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) for admission into the Company Secretary course.

Here's what it involves:

Objective: CSEET aims to test the candidate's knowledge and understanding of various aspects related to company secretarial practices, legal aspects, accounting, economics, and other relevant areas.

Eligibility: Students who have passed 10+2 examinations or equivalent from a recognized board are eligible to appear for CSEET.

Format: CSEET is conducted online (remote proctored mode) and comprises of multiplechoice questions (MCQs).

Subjects: The CSEET syllabus includes:
Business Communication
Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning
Economic and Business Environment
Current Affairs and Quantitative Aptitude

Examination Pattern:
It's a 200 marks exam with 140 MCQs
Passing criteria include securing 50% marks in MCQs
The duration of the exam is 120 minutes (2 hours)

Exemption: Candidates who have passed CS Foundation, CA Foundation, or CMA Foundation are exempted from CSEET.

Importance: Passing CSEET is mandatory for candidates to register for the CS Executive Program.

Registration: Candidates need to register with the ICSI for the CSEET examination by filling out the online application form and paying the requisite fees.

Preparation: Various study materials and coaching are available to prepare for CSEET. Mock tests are also conducted to help candidates assess their preparation levels.

After CSEET: Once a candidate clears CSEET, they can register for the CS Executive Program. After clearing the Executive Program and undergoing practical training, they can appear for the CS Professional examination, which is the final stage in becoming a Company Secretary.
