I revisited the great city of Chicago again last week for the holiday bus & train festivities, but I made some other stops in the area during the week.

The first stop was at California Station on the Blue Line. I originally came here to check out the Holiday Bus that was on the 74 Fullerton Line, but after realizing that the bus was on the far end of the line, I did some fanning here at the station.

What you'll see here are several trains of mixed Budd 2600Series & Morrison Knudsen 3200Series cars operating on the Blue Line to O'Hare International Airport & Forest Park arriving & departing from California Station. You'll also see a train of CRRC 7000series cars as well. The 7000Series set caught me off guard, as that was the train I ended up riding to this station to begin with, and it was the first one to show up!
