These videos are meant to be educational but also funny, so if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!

0:00 Intro
0:05 2006 F150 5.4 3v, 233000 miles / 374977 kilometres. These engines also have issues with the cam phasers and timing chains as well (which can cause the customers concern). The technician said he quoted new cam phasers, seals, and chains but the customer declined and it eventually threw a connecting rod through the block, so now it'll need an engine. Also, proper servicing for any engine is very important but especially important on these 5.4s. So if you have one, make sure to change your oil often, with good oil and oil filters.
0:19 Vehicle is a KIA Soul. They didn't mention anything else.
0:30 99847 miles / 160688 kilometres on this 2012 Chevrolet Equinox just in case you're wondering. Pretty weird to find vegetable oil in the washer fluid reservoir. That's a first lol.
0:47 Technician didn't mention anything else.
0:59 The weight of the hand sanitizer on the blinker/turn signal made it so it wouldn't stay engaged when doing right turns. As you can see, once the technician removed it, it worked perfectly.
1:21 The technician said the concrete broke on the righthand side of the lift. This happened to a customer's brand new truck.
1:31 Vehicle was a 2003 F350 (6.0L). That's a lug wrench (what comes with your spare tire to remove the lug nuts and use your jack) that went through the oil pan on this truck.
1:40 On these vehicles with EPB (electric parking brake) you need to make sure your electric parking brake system is in service mode to do any work on the rear brakes. This is more of a reminder to anybody that watches these videos. So if you want to know more about this and how to put it in service mode, you can read this https://paulstravelpictures.com/2020...
The customer also got their vehicle towed in because they had no idea what to do.
1:49 As mentioned brake pads were installed backward.
2:05 Viewer also said this: "The car also caught on fire after running it for a while trying to clean out the injectors. The misfire caused a lot of unburned fuel to heat up the entire exhaust."
2:23 This was on a brand new Nissan Rogue.
2:30 Rear axle toe link that is broken. It's used to adjust the camber & toe in the rear.
2:46 This vehicle just came in for a safety check & to get a new serpentine belt installed, but the technician was pretty surprised to see the fuel tank held up with no straps.
2:59 Thought you guys would enjoy seeing this vinyl wrap job.
3:27 Outro. Thanks for watching!
