Machining aluminum is the goal for many DIY Makers.
In this video I will share my experience that will guide you to cut your first aluminum part successfully. Even if you have failed before or you think your machine is not rigid enough I think by applying these tips you will be successful.
Chip welding is one of the major obstacles when cutting aluminum, the correct bit, material and chip evacuation are critical.
Adding an air blast is the absolute minimum in my opinion but much better is to have some sort of automatic delivery system for a coolant.
