More diesel engine building work going on in the shop. Follow along in this video as I show how I cut Grooves in some piston liners for fire rings. Fire rings are used as the combustion seal on some high performance engines. The extreme crush pressure and solid nature of the rings make them capable of holding far more cylinder pressure than a standard gasket can. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy!
