corn and soybeans is about all we have markets for here in western Iowa..

nitch markets are non existent or already over saturated ....

farmers need a second income... but what's the best way to make one ? ... so far turbines are looking most promising... otherwise, it's a town job, or another business ....

we have tried double crop rotation but at the end of the day it doesn't make any more income than just planting soybeans early... I explained more about this in the video ...

the excavation business did make money but it came with its own problems ...

livestock industry is gone ... so any hope to expand farm operations into the livestock industry is hopeless
