Twenty years ago I recorded at Robin Aube & Tom Lawlor's recording studio in Hamilton with my band Cyanide Kiss. I released this song earlier on a demo but new band members Matt Kras and Adam Kras really sped up the track and made it a bit more groovy. I still have some difficulty recording vocals. Partially because of my vocal instrument but partially with recording technique because Robin Aube and Tom Lawlor made me sound awesome.

The Distings are replacing Matt and are in Poly FM mode. They are going into the Doepfer A138D into my guitar effects pedal for some extra reverb & Delay.

Adam is replaced by the Moog Mavis is doing the main bassline. It is also side chained with the Bass drum through the Motley Modular AYDABTU.

Jeff took the most to replicate. His bass drum and snare were replaced by the Mutable Instruments Peaks and the snare is going through the QuBit Data Bender for some glitch effects. His cymbal work is replaced by some broken glass from the WMD Fracture and this was my first attempt using the Qubit Surface as the highhat.

My guitar was replaced by the Arturia Microfreak into the Qubit Aurora then into the Erica Synth pico DSP.

I added some vocals and mixed and compressed it as best I could. I also found a little bit of footage from 20 years ago that I included.
