Cycling through Houthavens, a new 2 billion euro climateneutral neighborhood in Amsterdam, which consists of 7 artificial islands connected by 15 bridges. Although Houthaven is not finished yet, it already looks incredible. Before making this video I never visited this neighborhood, and I must say that I was really impressed. Amsterdam is an incredible city, and seeing Houthaven only reinforces that. It is a beautiful combination of sustainability, innovation, and historic elements built in a novel way. It gives a modern twist to the typical characteristics of Amsterdam, the canals and it's canal houses.
