Opa! Traditional Cypriot dish.. Kleftiko with Tava. This is the first time I am cooking this dish and with the added challenge of cooking it outdoors it was definitely a challenging dish for me.


Cypriot baked lamb & potatoes slow cooked in the oven is the traditional meal they called kleftiko in Cyprus. Tava is a lamb with rice, cumin & tomatoes, an allinone meal that goes well with kleftiko is similar to a paela dish.

The CrossRay BBQ was exceptional and once again showed it’s versatility with cooking both these dishes simultaneously for just under 2 hours.
