As you probably know, Dan Taylor has let go from WCBSFM after 40 years in New York radio, because of the investigation by New York Attorney General Letitia James into the legacy brands of the CBS media empire, according to the New York Post.

In honor of his departure, I got a bunch of Dan Taylor airchecks to share with you. First, it's Dan Taylor where he did his first midday shift on WCBSFM from back on 1/3/03 where he took over the late, great Dan Daniel (or shall I say, "DAN.... Daniel!"). Dan's midday show last about 3 months until he moved to mornings where he took over for the "Morning Mayor", Harry Harrison, and called it as "Taylor Made Mornings" where he remained until 2004 where he was replaced by former Monkee, Mickey Dolenz. When Dan returned to WCBSFM in 2007 following the failed "Jack", he went back to mornings until 2014 where he moved back to middays for the first time since 2003 where he remained until he was let go.

Dan Taylor started at WCBSFM when he was 19 years old back in 1978. And then, he went to WHN as a country station back in 1980 where he remained until the station flipped to the original WFAN in 1987 when it was on 1050 before it moved to 660 a year later. He went to WNBCAM and did the "Time Machine" for about a year until 1988. He also went to other stations including WYNY, WNSR and WMXV during the early to mid 1990's until he went back to WCBSFM to do fillins like Ed Baer did at the time until he started his midday shift.

If you haven't listened to Dan Taylor, here it is! I got more Dan Taylor airchecks soon. Tell us what you think?
