It has been a long time since we last visited Envy Bay the road works on the nearby Bawby Bridge and clearing of the old Power Station site have been making the route to the beach increasingly difficult to access... Today, the way was blocked by newly erected fences and trucks parked across the entrance! We clambered through anyway... But, this could be the last time we visit this, one of our favourite, beaches.

Arriving at Envy Bay, we found the place transformed the sun has encouraged the algea to grow, but, more than that, the tides have shifted and the bay is filling with silt and ruble... So, we make our way straight towards the mouth of the River Leven, where the conditions look far better for us.

Nicole has had her heart set on making some new art, so we search for the right kind of pieces to inspire creation! But, of course, we cannot leave any of the beautiful wee treasures we find along the way as luck would have it, we leave with more than enough for the art project and a few special pieces of pottery for #jewellery making!
