Star Wars is brimming with characters whose names are so wellknown that most people turn their heads when they hear them. The Star Wars series lives on owing to its heroes and villains, whether it's Luke Skywalker, another Jedi Master, or maybe even one of the greatest villains ever written, the Sith Lord Darth Vader. But not all of the strongest Star Wars characters originate from the Skywalker Saga or even series developer George Lucas; in fact, one of the most revered villains in many fans' hearts, Darth Revan from BioWare Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, is debatably canon in the new Disney phase. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is set in the Old Republic era, thousands of years ago, when both the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire were in power. With all three games set over 3000 years before even the Skywalker Story, Disney is seeking to tackle the Old Republic in the upcoming Star Wars film saga, and an antagonist like Darth Revan is a character who sorely needs to be explored and used to his highest capacity in the next saga.
