With the introduction of Microsoft Fabric in 2023, the scope of data workloads available has expanded to include Power BI, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Realtime Streaming. In this session we'll be diving into one of the workloads that Fabric offers, Data Warehousing. We'll cover a quick introduction to Fabric with a discussion on lakehouse vs warehouse. Then we'll dive into the SQL engine and look at how to create a Warehouse including objects like tables and stored procedures. We'll then look at how to load warehouses using SQL and Pipelines.
