David Grissom’s multifaceted oeuvre comprises a slew of stage and studio performances; he’s played alongside the likes of John Mellencamp, the Allman Brothers, the Chicks, Eric Johnson, Buddy Guy, and Bob Dylan, to name a few. He’s also found critical acclaim for his work with Storyville, the bluesrock outfit he cofounded in 1993 that sits at the intersection of his multigenre playstyle. Needless to say, Grissom’s distinctive chops require a finely tailored tone, and PRS answered the call to craft a signature amp capable of supporting his versatile yet characteristic output. Thus, the DGT 15 was born: a 15watt tube head with a formidable suite of tonecrafting features, painstakingly modeled after a multitude of prized vintage amps from Grissom’s personal collection.
