David Oladundoye Olurin was born on the 16th of June 1974 to the illustrious Olurin family in Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria. David, often called Papa, was born into the family of the Late Chief Dr Oladundoye Olurin (Snr) and Mrs Grace Ebun Olurin; he’s the second of 5 children. He has made a significant effort in engineering, oil and gas, and commodity trading. His career spanning over 2 and half decades is a testament to his expertise, leadership, hard work and relentless pursuit of excellence.
David's academic journey began at St Mary Primary School then Maryland Convent Private School, and then proceeded to command secondary school Ibadan for his secondary high school education, where he was an athlete representing the school in several competitions; he also served actively in the school national cadet force earning him top ranking within his pears he then continues this tertiary education at Yaba college of technology now know as city university and technology.

Now, on a personal level, David is a family man, happily married to his heartthrob of 28 years, Abimbola and blessed with two boys.

David is a hardened golfer and a member of so many golf clubs in Nigeria and the UK; also a lover of football and an Arsenal football fan.
