Day 2! 100 Days of Stocking My Pantry!

Hey lovely, my name is Della. I am so full of joy you are here! Today is day 2 to starting my series stocking my panty! Every day for a hundred days except for not working on my pantry on Sundays! I'm excited to share this journey and some education along the way!

Bone Broth:
1. Collect your bones, vegetable scraps, and seasonings of your choice.
2. Put in a stock pot and cover with water 1 inch above the bones.
3. Bring to a boil and then immediately turn it down to low or 180 degrees Fahrenheit.
4. Let it sit, a little less than a simmer, for 12 hours.
5. Strain out the bones, vegetable scraps, and seasonings. You can can can it or place it in your fridge once the broth has cooled from here. I strained the broth through a fine mess strainer and placed it in the fridge to allow the fat and liquid to separate. Put the bones back in the fridge or freezer for round two tomorrow or if using a crock pot let it go overnight.
6. (In the next video) The next morning I will skim the fat off and strain it through a cloth to get the rest of the particles out of the broth.
7. Then I will can it up. Follow that for tomorrow's video of day 3!
