Took the short train ride from Lisbon back to Sintra, and then the public bus to Cabo da Roca. From there, we headed out on the trail to Praia da Ursa. The first stretch is beautiful through the rolling fields. Then, once you reach the lookout point, it's all downhill, and steep with loose rocks. It is not always safe but conditions were good on this day so we went for it... carefully of course. Getting to the beach ended up taking us about 90 minutes from when we left Cabo da Roca. There were less than 10 people on the entire beach, which was great! The water was a bit chilly about 57 degrees. After hiking back up, we headed to Sintra's historic center to take a stroll and sample some wines and cheeses. We finished the evening off back in Lisbon at the Quiosque do Carmo with a cafe and nice acoustic music.
