3DAeroventures has collaborated with DBT Aero to develop a fully 3D printed, 1/6th scale version of their unique Synergy airframe.

DBT Aero is Shaping the Future™ through a family of ultraefficient airframes that bring affordability, sustainability, high speed & unique payload capabilities to personal, business, cargo, military & recreational aviation. The patented “green wings” Double Box Tail (DBT) configuration is the best hope for high speed, electric Regional Air Mobility (RAM). This project shows the application of advanced additive manufacturing (AAM) techniques to build an unmanned, scale version of the full scale, manned Synergy Prime aircraft currently in development. A 3D printed aircraft can be repaired or modified as easily as pressing the print button. Welcome to the future of aviation.
