DC 7C: The Seven Seas Solution

AeroDinosaur

This is a rerelease of our successful 1992 video, ‘DC7C: The Seven Seas Solution’. It covers the history of this aircraft type, then we ride the jumpseat of the last DC7C in airline service, N869TA, flying freight with TransAirLink in the Caribbean in 1992 as a DC7CF. We have added some new content to this video that provides a more indepth history of N869TA than seen in the original., highlighting its considerable clandestine mercenary activities in Africa—both before and after its 13 years of Caribbean service from 1982 to 1995.

CORRECTIONS: 1) In a place or two I refer to the letter "S" as "Sigma", not the correct phonetic "Sierra." As a pilot I should have caught that oversight. 2) I refer to air mercenary Jack Malloch as a "South African." Yes he was born there to a Scottish family (who had moved there beforehand) but Jack spent the rest of his life as a Rhodesian citizen (his family pulled up stakes again and moved there when he was very young), so it would have been more appropriate to refer to him as a "Rhodesian."
