The Suicide Squad have been one of the most pushed teams from Warner Brothers and DC Comics, more so than the Justice League in more recent years. Ever since the release of Suicide Squad (2016) in the DCEU, there seems to be this initative in trying to make the group the next big thing. Harley Quinn has made a significant impact on the DC Comics brand with her appearances in The Suicide Squad, directed by James Gunn, as well as Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is the latest video game based on DC Comics and enters the Batman: Arkham Universe five years after the events of Batman: Arkham Knight. It marks Rocksteady's first major release since 2015 and features a mindcontrolled Justice League as a consequence of Brainiac's invasion. The Justice League roster includes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and Green Lantern, while the playable characters from the Suicide Squad include Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang. She has also made appearances in animation with her own TV show, with the latest season featuring the Batfamily, including Nightwing, Robin, and Batgirl.
