Death of a Program: The ACGME vs. Private Equity

In January, the ACGME notified the Crozer Chester Medical Center that their general surgery residency program had to shut down in four days. What happened to get there and what has happened since? This is a story not just about one residency program but a story about power and greed that highlights a number of things that are wrong about residency training, the American health care system, and maybe even America at large.
