Relive the aweinspiring roadtrip that unfolded after our unforgettable mountainsfilled expedition last June in the North Rift region of Kenya. From Nairobi to Nakuru, Baringo, Uasin Gishu, and Elgeyo Marakwet Counties, our path took us on a rollercoaster ride of breathtaking vistas, heartpounding moments, and unforgettable encounters.

In this Part 3 of a 3part video series, after venturing into the uncharted territory of Kapedo and enjoying the hospitality of the fierce and proud Turkana people. A journey of courage and resilience, we navigated the tough landscapes with a sense of awe, honoring the spirit of the land and its inhabitants.

As we traversed the fearsome and regal Pokot folks' land, we were drawn to the colossal majesty of Mt. Silale – a massive caldera hidden in the heart of Pokot territory. Its ancient mysteries and epic vistas left us humbled and awestruck.

The trip continued to the tranquil shores of Lake Baringo and the captivating Lake Bogoria. Amidst these natural wonders, we discovered the rare gem of Netbon Kudu – one of Kenya's three natural blue pools and spas. The ethereal blue waters offered a soothing escape, like stepping into a dream.

Our journey was a kaleidoscope of experiences – from the unique sensation of swimming under the only hot waterfall in Kenya (Kapedo Waterfall) to the dusty climb of the rugged Mt. Silale, the thrill of encountering the elusive Mt. Paka, and the unexpected beechase that added a touch of excitement at Silale Crater.

Our odyssey led us to the most beautiful wild campsite at Silale, a haven of tranquility that seemed untouched by time. The captivating sunset over Silale Crater rim painted the sky in hues of gold, creating a moment that etched itself into our memories.

Sharing stories with Pokot warriors who took their livestock to graze within the embrace of the massive Silale Caldera, we glimpsed the deep cultural roots of the land. The serenity of Silale and its dreamless nights left us connected to nature's embrace and the whispers of the past.

The journey continued to Lake Bogoria, where the shores came alive with the presence of hundreds of thousands – if not millions – of pink lesser flamingos, a living testament to the marvels of the natural world.

In the heart of it all, we met the extraordinary Turkana and Pokot people – guardians of these landscapes. Their warmth, stories, and enduring spirit showcased a different facet of Kenya, one that's often overlooked.

Relive the excitement, the serenity, the thrill, and the awe through this captivating video. It's an invitation to embark on a journey that transcends the ordinary, to witness Kenya's hidden wonders, and to connect with the spirit of the land and its people.
