Our patient had neck, arm, and jaw issues after an allergic exposure. The intent of the treatment was to release tension from the upper body and release entrapment of the nerves as they pass under the clavicle. The session began with rib and breath work, scapular release, then releases of the scalene triangles and cervical spine adjustments. More work to ease the breath with sternal release. TMJ assessment uncovered occipital issues. Release of the left suboccipital revealed that the primary resistance to cervical neutral was a left PS occiput, which adjusted cleanly as she was relaxed and prepared for this deep movement.

As is sometimes the case, intraoral work on the jaw was indicated. We accomplished it without incident and minimal patient discomfort.
