The Smart Stop Stop module is a great way to keep your ESS settings in your JL or JT for half the price of a Tazer. No more hitting the ESS button to stop the start stop madness. Of course the Tazer does other things also, but I plan on using JScan instead of a Tazer. This device only addresses the ESS system. And does so flawlessly. This is a job for small hands. It isn’t difficult, just a tight part of the dash. I did order extension cables for the Secure Gateway (SGW) module from Z Automotive to make accessing the SGW easier in the future.
