Defenders of the Riga Bay, divers remove ghost nets from Baltic Sea! ‍♂

Daivings Diving Club, PADI diving instructor Valters Preimanis, along with Guntis Zilberts and our most active fans, participated in an underwater cleanup action in Riga Bay this Saturday.

Our mission was to rid the bay of ghost nets abandoned fishing nets that not only endanger boat traffic but also continue to "fish" by trapping and killing marine life. ❌

After long and meticulous hours underwater, we managed to collect a significant amount of netting, making Riga Bay cleaner and safer for both humans and nature.
