The evaluation of our patient starts with a comprehensive evaluation of their history, their symptoms, their physical exam that they submit to us or they have in our office, and then a thorough discussion with the patient discussing all of those factors and potential treatment options. Many of our patients are familiar with, aware of or have experienced some of the "cookie cutter protocols" that are administered elsewhere. Cookie cutter protocols essentially are when patients are placed on the same regimen regardless of some of the variances in those factors that we just discussed, such as their hormone levels or other factors that we consider in their evaluation. Now for our patients, every patient is a clean slate when they start.
We have no cookie cutter protocols. We have no fixed regimen that they're going to follow. The plan and the protocol for treatment for each individual patient is determined during the consultation based on their specific hormone levels, their specific symptoms and their specific goals. In other words, our approach to treating our patients is comprehensive, but individualized and customized.
