Water represents the feminine energies and emotions.

The Delaware River is the natural border
between western New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.
Its headwaters begin in the Catskills in southeastern New York
and flow southward where it empties into the Delaware Bay in northern Delaware.

In Easton PA – the confluence where the Lehigh River
flows into the Delaware River –
was considered sacred by the Lenni Lenape Tribe.
There important treaties between European settlers and the Lenni Lenape Tribe were signed including the infamous “Walking Purchase” of 1737
in which they were cheated out of 1.2 million acres of ancestral land
(roughly the size of Rhode Island).
