Description: Arriving into Detroit on a cold afternoon after a flight from Amsterdam, with a great engine and wing view. This was a fairly simple and straightforward approach: we came in from the east over Ontario, and after crossing over the border we made a couple of lefthand turns to line up with the runway for landing. We touched down about four minutes later, and the airport was pretty quiet when we arrived, so it didn’t take long to taxi in to our gate.

The videos from this flight were ALMOST perfect, except for a very strange issue with the audio. It turns out that the A350’s air vents are highly effective, so much so that having mine pointed towards the camera created some popping sounds in the audio. Visually, though, the videos turned out beautifully, so hopefully the artificial “wind noise” doesn’t ruin the overall experience too much.
