Hey guys,
thank you for watching the video. I'll just share my thoughts with you real quick about Delta's new catering in economy class. I like the cocktail service, but it could be improved by including a snack since it replaced the full beverage and snack service. The choice of two appetizers is a really nice touch. The food overall tasted very good, but as I mentioned in the video I miss the little extras. The placemat is a nice improvement. Delta claims that their silverware has been improved, but I couldn't see a difference, still plastic. Real metal silverware would be an improvement and would give the whole experience a more premium touch to it. I really am disappointed that they discontinued the midflight warm cookie service. The arrival snack was similar to the "old" catering, two choices of a hot snack with a dessert...loved it and it tasted great too!
All in all not much has changed, I'm a big fan of their placemat, menu cards and the quality and taste of the food, if they included a snack with the cocktail, little extras(like cheese) with your main meal and the midflight cookie it would be the perfect dining experience!
