1.Anterior/clavicular fibers – Flexion, adduction and medial rotation of arm
2. Middle/acromial fibers –(antigravity muscle) Abduction of arm from 15° to 90°. Anterior & Posterior fibers hold the humerus.
3. Posterior fibers – Extension and lateral rotation of arm.
