In this demo we will learn how HashiCorp Vault can help us secure a python webapp and MySQL database. We will see how to use dynamic credentials and database secret engine to protect database credentials and also use the transit and transform secret engine to encrypt and encode the data e.g. SSN using FPE (Format Preserving Encryption) and credit card number using data masking.
