Demonstrating u0026 Defining Cymbal Sounds | Ep. 1

Follow
Sounds Like A Drum

Welcome to the inaugural episode of "Cymbal Sounds", the Sounds Like a Drum cymbal series initially launched exclusively on Patreon. We'll be starting to share some of these here on our YouTube channel in the coming months. Please keep in mind that we started this series four years ago, so A/V production isn't necessarily up to date with our most recent videos but all of the material is still 100% relevant. In this episode we demonstrate and define some of the terms we'll be using to describe cymbal sounds throughout this series so we can make sure everyone is on the same page as to what a "dry" sound is vs. "washy" vs. "pingy".
