This presentation by Muriel Brückner introduces DORADO, a lagrangian particle tracking model that uses the output flow of water simulated by any hydrodynamic model to compute the paths of particles while taking into consideration buoyancy characteristics. In the tutorial, DORADO is applied to ANUGA hydrodynamic model output, to simulate the hydrodynamics of a subregion of the Mississippi River Delta, Louisiana.
Note: The workshop materials presented in this session will be available at NASA's Oak Ridge National Laboratory Distributed Active Archive Center (ORNL DAAC). They are expected the second week of July. https://github.com/ornldaac/deltax_wo... #demonstrationofdoradosedimenttransport
